MAC is always on the lookout for organizations that are doing great work in the community. The MatSu Animal Shelter recently offered a low-cost clinic serving the Matanuska Valley, and we knew we wanted to be involved! Almost 150 households were served, most with multiple pets. The final count was:

- Oral Bordatella – 92
- FVRCP – 55
- Microchips – 103
- Licenses 251
MAC was there with volunteers who helped with some of the logistical details so that the shelter staff could get to all the animals. Since MAC is somewhat new to the area with branches in Wasilla and Palmer, it is important to us that our neighbors know we are community focused. Even your e-Checking account makes a difference for organizations, non-profits, and programs just like the MatSu Animal Shelter.
