  • have at least one direct deposit or automatic withdrawal or one of our bill-pay transactions
  • have e-statements and make sure MAC has your current email address
  • regularly use our free online banking service

E-checking accounts that do no meet the criteria for any given month will receive 0.15% APY* for that month.  Only personal accounts qualify for e-checking and only one per member.  No more than three(3) checks per month can be written on e-checking accounts.

Changes to U.S. Savings Bond Sales

The U.S. Department of Treasury announced it will eliminate over-the-counter sales of paper savings bonds on December 31, 2011. After that date, paper bonds will no longer be sold at financial institutions, including credit unions. Electronic savings bonds will remain available to consumers for purchase through TreasuryDirect, a secure web-based system operated by the Bureau of Public Debt. www.treasurydirect.gov

Financial Literacy Class at West Valley

This month, MAC will have a presenter teach a class at West Valley High School on budgeting, ID theft, and credit reports.  The class is one of the many ways that MAC can give back to the community in the form of education.  That class will be on January 25th.
